Hi,
I just wanted to send an email to Thank You for the Awesome!!! time me and my family had on the Jet Ski Tour. We were there Tue august 15th, none of us had ever rode a Jet Ski and thought this would be a slow ride around... LOL was we wrong you guys rocked our world!!!! This was truly the most fun and exciting thing any of us have ever done at the beach and you guys made it possible
We will definatly be back next year.

Hello to everyone at Thomas Outdoor Watersports! I just wanted to take a minutes to say thank you to everyone there! We were vacationing in Myrtle Beach last week and rented from you guys 3 times while there, twice on the ocean and once in the river. The ocean hour is AWESOME, we are so glad you added it. Thank you for taking great care of us, not just safety wise but price wise too, it was very much appreciated! This isn't the first time you guys have been so great to us either, we were there last fall a few times as well and received the same service! We hope to be back in the area in early September, and we definitely will be looking to ride
We took a few pictures while we were out there, they kind of suck though because the water was so choppy and we were so far apart, but I sent a few of them for you anyway.
Thank you again! You guys are wonderful and we wouldn?t think from renting from anywhere else.

I just wanted to write a big THANK YOU to the staff at Thomas' Outdoor Watersports !
My bf and I went on the Jetski Dolphin Watch Tour, and even though we didn't see any dolphins, the tour was still beautifully awesome !
This is my second time down to Myrtle Beach, and because of today it is going to be the most memorable.
I look forward to coming back down here and doing it all over again, so keep doing what you guys' are doing !

Just got home from M.B. and wanted to let you know what a great time we had on our jet ski dolphin tour.
The tour was great and the guides were awesome. ( Dan (?) and Caleb.
We thought it was a great value for our money.
Next time we?re in town, we?ll book another!

My family (myself, wife and two kids, 5 & 7) took the dolphin tours. The jet-skis are large enough to accommodate two riders easily and are quite stable, even for people that do not have much experience with them. The course that we rode was not too challenging and was quite safe. Not very busy with other PWC or boats, and when you did need to do some maneuvering around other craft, there was plenty of room to do so safely.
We actually had to take two tours. The first one was cut short because a storm was rolling in and the guide made the (wise) decision that it would be safer to return to the docks. We got a rain-check and returned a couple of days later and were able to complete the tour, dolphins and all. It is quite amazing to have dolphins swimming around less than 5 feet from you.
Make sure you do not expect Flipper-like behavior from them - these are not trained performing dolphins and likely will not be doing things like "high jumps" or "dancing" on their tails or anything like that. Make sure your kids understand this if they are used to seeing dolphins perform in an aquarium.
Once we got to the ocean, seas were about 6-8 feet when we got to the ocean which was a bit intimidating at first, but not too hard to handle once you got the hang of riding (or jumping!) the waves. At this point I was happy that the guide cut our first tour short - if the waves were 6-8 feet in calm weather, I did not want to know how they would have been in a thunderstorm!
All in all this was quite an exciting experience for all of us. We have decided that whenever we come back to Myrtle Beach, we will go back for another tour (or two!). Who knows? Maybe we will also see about getting a map, renting jet-skis and try to go about things ourselves!

| The 2 hour dolphin tour has become our families favorite activity at Myrtle. This year we rented 9 jet skis due to the size of our group. We had some friends that were on vacation at the same time and from what I gather from them they had a blast and said that they would definately be back. I think that having three guides who seem to be very well trained makes me feel more at ease, especially while out on the ocean. The waves did not seem as big this year, but we definately got some big air, only one of our riders "wiped out." We were able to see many dolphins and actually were within just a few feet of them. The staff was more than accomidating, and it was apparent that they wanted us to have a good time. If you are looking for an activity that the whole family can enjoy together, I can't imagine anything that could be as fun and exciting and it will get your teenagers talking to you. Thanks to you and your staff, Richard. We'll see you again next year. |

I have just returned home to Ohio, and felt compelled to share my families experience. I had contacted Thomas Watersports prior to vacationing to set up a Dolphin watch tour with 4 adults and 4 teenagers. All other Tour operators informed me that unless the teenagers were 16 and had a drivers license they could not operate a jet ski. Thomas watersports was the only one that informed me that if the teenagers were 14 or 15 years old and they passed the South Carolina boaters safety course ( online ) they could in fact operate a jetski under S Carolina waterway laws. Our first time out on the 2 hr dolphin tour, was abrubtly cut short due to a monsoon-like rainfall that started 20 minutes into our tour. On top of that my spouse had a panic attack and her jetski had to be towed back. The jetski guides were very professional in leading 8 customers back ( 5 who had never been on a jetski before ) in horrible rain conditions. Once we returned to the dock, the owner was very courteous and accommodating to our group and set up another dolphin tour 2 days later. This tour was excellent and the highlight of our vacation in Myrtle beach. We even went out again on their Extreme Jetski tour in the Atlantic Ocean. If this is your first time Jet skiing and you have children, you will not be dissappointed with Thomas Watersports. Safety was their #1 priority.

| Just wanted to thank Thomas Water Sports for the great time we had today. We're locals and this was our first Jet Ski adventure. Both of our guides were great and very knowledgeable. I must admit we were a little nervous about going out into about 8 ft seas but once we got out there we had a great time. When we arrived at the Shrimp boat there were Dolphins all around and several were jumping 10 ft out of the water. We had the greatest time and are looking forwarad to our next trip.gracie |
